Membership
If you wish to become a BAMBI Member there are two ways to pay the BAMBI Membership Fee.
New Members Fee is ฿1,400 and Renewal Fee is ฿1,000.
(1) Payment at Playgroup or Events
Go to any BAMBI playgroup or event, including New Members Coffee Morning, and pay the fee. You will get a membership card and receipt on the spot.
BAMBI will activate your online account within a few days and you will receive an automated activation email.
When you receive the activation email, please complete your membership profile online as soon as possible, so we can send you your monthly BAMBI magazine. You can also start placing Classified Ads for free on the BAMBI website.
(2) Bank or ATM transfer
Make an ATM or online payment to the BAMBI/CBFT account listed below:

Once the transfer has been made, go to the Join BAMBI page, enter your credentials, and upload a scan or photo of the transfer slip as proof of payment.
The Database Coordinator will activate your account within a few days after receiving your submitted form. When you receive the activation email, you can start placing Classified Advertisements for free.
Your BAMBI member card should be posted to you within 2 weeks. Until you receive your card, you can show a copy of the activation email to enjoy member rates at any BAMBI playgroup or event.

If you wish to renew your membership, there are two ways to do this.
The annual donation is ฿1,000.
(1) Payment at BAMBI playgroup or event
Go to any BAMBI playgroup or event and pay the donation. Please remember to bring the email address you registered with, and also your expired card to exchange it for a new one.
(2) Bank or ATM transfer
Make an ATM or online payment to the BAMBI/CBFT Account listed below:

The Database Coordinator will extend or re-activate your membership within a few days after receiving confirmation of your payment.
Your BAMBI new member card should be posted to you within 2 weeks. Until you receive your card, you can show a copy of the activation email to enjoy member rates at any BAMBI playgroup or event.
You can get a new card at any BAMBI playgroup or event, for ฿100. Please remember to bring your email address you registered with so we can verify your account.
Or you can transfer ฿100 from your bank or ATM to the following:

Once the transfer has been made, email a scan or photo of the payment slip to database@bambiweb.org and the Database Coordinator will send you a new card.
TIP: Take a photo of your new card and show that instead of the physical card at BAMBI playgroups and events!
Your membership is valid for 12 months from the date of registration.
The expiry date is written on the back of the card you have been issued.
If you haven’t reset it, the username is the email address you provided when you joined BAMBI and the password is your membership number.
If you can’t remember your membership number, then please go and reset your password, using your registered email address.
If you still cannot log in or are having technical difficulties with this site, please contact us.
You can still renew, following the steps above. Your membership will be valid for 12 months from the date of renewal.
Your username and password to log in to the website is the same as before.
Please make sure that your mailing address is up to date, so that the replacement card can be mailed to you, if you renewed via bank transfer. If you renew at a BAMBI event, please bring your old card and exchange it for a new one there.
Classifieds/Advertising
Classified services are available to non-members for a fee. To place an advert non-members should:
- Submit their classified advert by email to website@bambiweb.org for approval in accordance to our rules. This takes up to three working days.
- Upon approval from our administrator you will receive an email confirmation and instructions for making payment*.
- Proof of payment must be emailed to website@bambiweb.org and treasurer@bambiweb.org.
- The advert should appear online within 4 working days of receipt of proof of payment.
- Non-members can contact website@bambiweb.org to amend or remove their advert from the website.
*(Non-members are asked for a suggested minimum donation of ฿500 per advertisement.)
Donation and Policy Details:
- BAMBI does not allow the posting of business and promotional advertisements.
- If you are unsure whether or not your advertisement would be considered business or promotional, please contact us first at website@bambiweb.org.
- It could take around 7 days for your advertisement to be activated from the day that we receive your advertisement.
- Please also make sure to review all the rules for advertisements on the Classifieds page.
There could be a few reasons why your advertisement is not posted:
- Your advertisement can't be posted because it is considered a business/promotional or commercial advertisement.
- Advertisements should not be placed on behalf of friends, they are for personal use only.
- It could take around 7 days for your advertisement to be activated from the day that we receive your advertisement.
- We cannot repost the same advertisement while it is still on the website. You can repost the same advertisement only after it has been removed from the website. Non-members may email website@bambiweb.org to request the ad be removed.

Magazine
In an effort to reduce paper usage, our monthly BAMBI magazine is now accessible to everyone online. Just go to the Magazine page of our website and download a copy of our digital version.
If you still wish to receive a printed copy, please first make sure that your membership hasn’t expired, log into your profile, check that your address is up-to-date and click the box:
✅ Yes, please send me a printed copy of the BAMBI magazine every month.
If the box is ticked, your address is correct and your membership is not expired, please contact us so we can look into why you have not received your magazine.
NOTE: You will not receive the magazine the month you join BAMBI. This is because the distribution list for the magazine is prepared one month before the magazine is sent out.

Playgroups, Yard Sales, and other BAMBI events
Some BAMBI playgroups and events may require pre-registration. Please check the specific event details on the Calendar or on our Facebook page.
When no pre-registration is needed, just show up with your member card!
When pre-registration is required, you will find a link to the booking form on the event page on our website. Booking is only available through this form, and walk-ins cannot be accepted. When you have successfully submitted the booking form, you will receive an email to confirm your place. Please be prepared to show this email when you arrive at the event.
Spaces at playgroups and events that require pre-registration are limited, so please make your booking promptly. Booking opens on the Thursday before the event at 10.00am (Playgroups) and 10.30am (Activities).
Yes, but your bookings must be at different venues and at different times. If you do book the same venue twice in one week, or if you book two playgroups that are held at the same time as each other, our Playgroup Volunteers will contact you to cancel one of your bookings.
Please cancel your booking! Places are limited, so by cancelling, you’re giving another family a chance to join. Just send us an email at the contact address given in the email you received when you booked your spot. The earlier you can let us know, the more time we have to offer the space to someone else.
Our Playgroup Volunteers will record the names of any families who book but do not attend. If this happens more than two times, other families will be given priority over you next time.
BAMBI strives to fulfill the needs and wishes of its members, including opening Playgroups or Activities in geographical areas for which there is member demand.
At the same time, all Playgroups and Activities require volunteers to run them. If you feel that your area needs a Playgroup or Activity, please volunteer to become a Playgroup Leader or Activity Leader—it’s easier and more fulfilling than you may think! You can contact playgroups@bambiweb.org to join the team.
Please check our Calendar before setting out, especially around the holidays, as we keep those listings up to date. We will also post cancellation notices on our Facebook page.
During the dry season months (1 December to 31 March), BAMBI Playgroups and Activities will also be subject to the Air Quality Policy. If PM2.5 readings on Air Quality Index for Bangkok are above certain levels at 7:05am, certain BAMBI Playgroups and Activities for that day will be automatically canceled. So please check the policy carefully!
For non-BAMBI Playgroups, please contact the schools directly.
We will announce upcoming Yard Sales on our Yard Sales page and Facebook page. You can also sign up for our enewsletter to get notifications directly in your inbox.
The announcements will include details on how to book a table. We will also announce when bookings are full.
We collect donations of second-hand items at specific events.
