How do I become a member of BAMBI?

 

The new member fee to join BAMBI is 1,400 baht. Please pay the fee by bank transfer to the following account:

 

Make an ATM or online payment to the BAMBI/CBFT account listed below:

  • Bank: TTB (TMB Thanachart Bank)
  • Account Name: CHILDBIRTH AND (as it appears on the ATM screen)
  • Bank account: 152 2 17807 6

After transfer, please save your bank deposit slip – it will be included with the membership application.
 

To join BAMBI, please complete and submit our membership application form

 

After submission, your application will be reviewed and approved within 6-10 days. You will receive a confirmation email once it is activated with information about how to use your BAMBI membership.

What is Glue Up? Why do I need to create a Glue Up account?

Glue Up is the web platform that hosts BAMBI’s website and membership platform. Creating an account allows you to access BAMBI membership and its benefits.

Can I pay for my membership in cash?

BAMBI no longer accepts cash for membership fees. BAMBI membership is now fully digital.

The easiest way to access BAMBI memberships is to join or renew your membership a few days before you attend a BAMBI event.

How do I renew my BAMBI membership?

90 days before your membership expiration, you will receive an email about your renewal. Please follow the instructions in this email to renew your membership.

The renewal fee is 1,000 baht. Your renewal emails will contain instructions regarding the fee and renewal process.

Please note that processing time is 6-10 days.

You can also log into your BAMBI account and click on the renewal button for instructions.

As a reminder, please be sure your email is up to date in the BAMBI system to ensure you receive all correspondence.

I lost my membership card. What do I do?

BAMBI no longer issues membership cards and they are not required for BAMBI membership. Please use your email to log into your account on the BAMBI website or Glue Up app.

Inside the Glue Up app is a digital membership card – you can present this to receive BAMBI benefits.

If I don’t have a membership card, can family members or care givers still use my membership?

Yes! To assist our volunteers at events, please share your registration confirmation with the family member or caregiver who will attend the BAMBI event. They will also be able to use your membership with full name or e-mail address.

I want to renew, but my membership has expired. What do I do?

No problem. Check your email for any of the BAMBI renewal emails for instructions. You can also log into your BAMBI account on our website and select Renew My Membership for instructions.

You are eligible to renew up to 3 years after your BAMBI membership expired.

If you would like to join BAMBI more than 3 years after your membership expired, please pay the new member fee and complete the new member application.

I forgot my log-in for the BAMBI website. What should I do?

On the BAMBI website, click on Log In, then Forgot Password.

If you have forgotten which email you used for your account, please email database@bambiweb.org for assistance.

How long does my membership last?

BAMBI membership lasts for 1 year from the day the membership is activated.

What's the new BAMBI membership process like?

You can still apply for a new membership or renew your membership at any of the BAMBI events.

Please note that processing time for new and renewal membership applications is now 6-10 days. We recommend submitting your application a minimum of one week before attending a BAMBI event to ensure your membership is active on the day. If your membership is not active, you will be required to pay the non-member ticket price for the event.

Does BAMBI still issue physical membership cards?

BAMBI no longer issues physical membership cards. In order to avail of any benefits from your BAMBI membership you may show our partners your digital membership card on your 'My Glue' app.

1. Go to your profile by tapping onto your profile icon/image at the bottom right of your screen

2. Tap on 'Memberships'

3. View your memberships and select 'New Member' to view your full membership details

 

NOTE: BAMBI volunteers will have 2 memberships, both 'New Member' and 'New Volunteer'.

Playgroups, Yard Sales, and other BAMBI events

Can I book a spot at two playgroups in one week?

Yes, but your bookings must be at different venues and at different times. If you do book the same venue twice in one week, or if you book two playgroups that are held at the same time as each other, our Playgroup Volunteers will contact you to cancel one of your bookings.

I have some secondhand things to donate. Can BAMBI accept those?

We collect donations of second-hand items at specific events.
Here are a few organizations that accept donations of used goods throughout the year.

When is the next Yard Sale? How can I book a table?

We will announce upcoming Yard Sales on our Yard Sales page and Facebook page. You can also sign up for our enewsletter to get notifications directly in your inbox.

The announcements will include details on how to book a table. We will also announce when bookings are full.

How do I find out if a Playgroup or Activity is still on?

Please check our Calendar before setting out, especially around the holidays, as we keep those listings up to date. We will also post cancellation notices on our Facebook page.

During the dry season months (1 December to 31 March), BAMBI Playgroups and Activities will also be subject to the Air Quality Policy. If PM2.5 readings on Air Quality Index for Bangkok are above certain levels at 7:05am, certain BAMBI Playgroups and Activities for that day will be automatically canceled. So please check the policy carefully!

For non-BAMBI Playgroups, please contact the schools directly.

Why isn’t there any BAMBI Playgroup or Activity in my area?

BAMBI strives to fulfill the needs and wishes of its members, including opening Playgroups or Activities in geographical areas for which there is member demand.

At the same time, all Playgroups and Activities require volunteers to run them. If you feel that your area needs a Playgroup or Activity, please volunteer to become a Playgroup Leader or Activity Leader—it’s easier and more fulfilling than you may think! You can contact playgroups@bambiweb.org to join the team.

Can I send my nanny with my child to BAMBI Playgroups or Activities?

Yes, your nanny is welcome. She will be personally responsible for the supervision of your child during the BAMBI-sponsored event, just as any parent. To avoid any mix-ups however, please make sure you give her your valid member card (a photo is also acceptable). We are unable to verify membership with only your name.

How do I sign in and pay at a BAMBI event?

Our regular playgroups and activities require sign-in via a QR code. The detailed step-by-step process for members is available here. Attendees who wish to become BAMBI members at the event are requested to sign-in as non-members first. Sign-in at other events is usually done by filling in information manually. In all cases, please make sure to have your membership number on hand. Please be aware that donations (including yearly membership and renewal fees) are payable in CASH only at BAMBI events, and having the exact amount ready is highly appreciated.

Please cancel your booking! Places are limited, so by cancelling, you’re giving another family a chance to join. Just send us an email at the contact address given in the email you received when you booked your spot. The earlier you can let us know, the more time we have to offer the space to someone else.

Do I need to pre-book to join a BAMBI Playgroup or other BAMBI events? How can I make a booking?

Some BAMBI playgroups and events may require pre-registration. Please check the specific event details on the Calendar or on our Facebook page.
When no pre-registration is needed, just show up with your member card!

When pre-registration is required, you will find a link to the booking form on the event page on our website. Booking is only available through this form, and walk-ins cannot be accepted. When you have successfully submitted the booking form, you will receive an email to confirm your place. Please be prepared to show this email when you arrive at the event.

Spaces at playgroups and events that require pre-registration are limited, so please make your booking promptly. Booking opens on the Thursday before the event at 10.00am (Playgroups) and 10.30am (Activities).

How do I find info about Playgroups near me? Which Playgroup is good for my kid’s age?

Please see our Playgroups listing and Activities for a current list of BAMBI offerings. Each Playgroup or Activity includes a description of the target age range. Most BAMBI Playgroups are for children 0-5, while ‘Small World’ playgroups are specifically for babies, rollers, crawlers, and waddlers. Activities are for slightly older children, above 1 years of age up to 6 or so, depending on the activity. Find us on the map to see which ones are near you. There are also non-BAMBI Playgroups that you can browse. Please contact the schools directly for more information on these playgroups.

What are some benefits of becoming a BAMBI member?

Magazine

I haven't received my magazine. Who do I contact?

First, please log in to your BAMBI account. Confirm that you have selected to receive the magazine by mail and that your mailing address is complete, correct, and up to date.

If you have selected to receive the magazine and your mailing address is correct, please send an email to database@bambi.org. We will check our records and follow up with you.

Please note there are mailing errors from time to time that we cannot control. We are also not able to forward old issues of the magazine. An electronic version of the magazine is available on our website.
